Fellowship Banquet Brings New Vigil Nominations

At the Winter Fellowship Banquet on December 19, North Star recieved two new Vigil Nominations. We would like to extend our congratulations to Michael Swank, NS Chapter Chief, and Mr. Kurt Kestermeier, Ceremonial Team Advisor.

Russ Bresnahan is the New Central Region Chief

On the morning of December 28, 2005, Russ Bresnahan was elected the new Central Region Chief. Russ is an Eagle Scout from Troop 229and has held many positions in the OA on his way toward being the Central Region Chief. As many of you know, Russ was already the Section Chief, having been elected at the 2005 Section Concleve in September. He will have to step down as Section Chief within 30 days and a new Section Chief will need to be elected in 60 days. Russ, throughout his extensive Scouting career, has held many positions both on the Chapter and Lodge levels, including: Ceremonial Team member; elangomat chairman, Ordeal and Brotherhood Chairman at both the Chapter and the Lodge (at different times); and 1st Vice Chief at both levels. We wish Russ the best of luck in his new position and congratulate him on his great achievement.
